Multiple
Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis is an
inflammatory disease that occurs in your
nervous system. Multiple sclerosis
is actually the inflammation of the central part of this system. This
disease,
multiple sclerosis, is more common in
younger people. Furthermore, multiple sclerosis
tends to affect more women than
men. A recent study has shown
that the number of women affected by
multiple sclerosis is twice as big as the number of
multiple sclerosis in men.

There are some symptoms that can
indicated multiple sclerosis.
Weakness, numbness or a problem with your vision may indicate a case of
multiple sclerosis. The loss of your
balance, depression, fatigue, dizziness and urinary problems are also
some symptoms of multiple sclerosis. However, diagnosing multiple
sclerosis is not such an easy thing and it should probably be done by
somebody that has a little more experience with
multiple sclerosis cases. To diagnose
multiple sclerosis, there have to be present at lest two neurological
signs in your barain or the spinal cord. These signs that are used to
diagnose multiple sclerosis must also happen in different parts of your
nervous system, the central part. Furthermore, these signs of
multiple sclerosis have to bee at least
two months apart from each other. A image with magnetic resonance must
be taken after you have had your first multiple sclerosis attack,
because it can give you a lot of useful information. This procedure is
so useful in multiple sclerosis
cases
because it can show you if there is another part of your brain or spinal
cord that is damaged due to multiple sclerosis. A second such test may
prove itself useful if it is done after about three months after the
first multiple sclerosis attack. This should indicate you for sure if
you have other lesions because of multiple sclerosis.
Multiple
sclerosis has many symptoms. Some of
the most obvious multiple sclerosis symptoms are:
- depression, fatigue and vertigo;
- being sensitive to heat or having an electrical sensation in your
spine can also tell you that you have multiple sclerosis;
- numbness, troubles with your bladder or problems with your vision may
also suggest a multiple sclerosis case;
- weakness;
Besides these symptoms of multiple
sclerosis, there are also signs that could indicate that you have
multiple sclerosis. Having a decreased perception of ones pain or
position can definitely be a sign of multiple sclerosis. Decreased
strength or balance and coordination problems are some sure signs of
multiple sclerosis. |
